Hey, I went to Jersey Boys, the Wed night performance and Dominic Nolfi who plays Tommy was out and he was out in the afternoon and Tuesday. I was wondering how long he will be out for. I looked up broadwayunderstudies.com and it didnt say anything. Does anyone have a clue why he is not there?
Thanks!

Posted: 8/20/09 at 1:05amIs that true? or are you making that up cause I think he'd be good in that even though Tommy Devito is like made for him. Id like the truth on this thread as much as possible.

That's a tall order in any thread on BWW. But good luck!

Posted: 8/20/09 at 1:32amUm, maybe he is sick or had a last minute emergency? Or a prior commitment? Broadway Understudies doesn't list every understudy, and they even say they cannot guarantee the accuracy of their website. He'll probably be back soon.

There seriously needs to be an age requirement to join this board.
Seriously.

It's Summer, he may be getting a tan on the Bahamas... Performers are entitled to vacation too.
Then again, I do hope you get to see him in the future. He's pretty good as Tommy.

Which understudy?
Also, if you get Jake Speck as Tommy, it'd be NO LOSS at all. :) Love that guy.

I saw Erik Bates and he was eh. He had no personality and didnt have a Jersey accent which I didnt understand. I know they are intitled to a vacation but I just wanted to see all of them together, it just kinda stunk that I didnt get to.
For the last time, Im not 10. But thanks for asking again.

I've seen Erik Bates too (but not on Broadway), so I can sympathize. I felt very similarly.
BTW the word is "entitled."
