Jersey Boys rush

Good day. I was wondering if the box office holds tickets to be sold for rush, or if they are only offered if there are extra seats. I would like to rush Jersey Boys next week but see that all of the tickets are sold out, so I was worried no rush seats would be available at all. If anyone has info on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Doesn't look like they hold back: "Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances."

Is that from the official site?

When I went by the box office this past weekend, they said that you generally only have to get there an hour before the show for standing room.

Official site, yes, but that was for student rush, not SRO.

Tried for rush yesterday around noon. They said tickets went within minutes of the box office opening, and that's for both the matinee and evening performance.

Thanks for all the info! I didn't even think about trying for standing room, it's good to know there's another option. I'm going to attempt tomorrow and will give an update after.

I was 2nd in line after arriving at 7:20. Only 2 more people arrived between that time and 8:30 or so. I was able to get 2 tickets for evening, and it was for partial view seats (front row side) that did not show up on TM as available. Soo, I think they do hold some back for rush. Also, they asked for my student ID for the first time. Good luck to anyone who tries this week!

I got rush tickets on Friday the 13th after getting there around 8. Good seats in the front orchestra, on the side. They said they only had ten tickets. They also mentioned that there wouldn't be rush tickets on Saturday or Sunday (though I can't guarantee they won't change things). I did ask about standing room for the last show and they said they weren't selling any (though I'm not sure if that applies to Saturday too.)

I did rush about month ago for Sunday evening, I got there a couple of hours before it started and was able to secure rush tickets that were last row orchestra. And there were still a few empty seats in the back rows, meaning there were likely unused potential rush tickets. I think the 7pm show on Sunday might be a little easier to rush.

I saw the show on January 3 and it was sold out. I didn't rush it but I did pay $58+ for an Orchestra seat on Telecharge Offers.

Has anyone done this lately? Planning on rushing for the matinee for this Sat. Wonder how long is the wait? And the seat situation
