I'm confused, I've never been to the Jimmy Awards but I find this incredibly shocking. Tickets on Ticketmaster right now range from $55-$350!!! These are not resale prices, but the normal prices. Did they always charge this much for the event?

I wanted to attend this year but can't. I have enjoyed watching them. They are live this evening at 7:30 on YouTube. About to watch them.

No, never. They haven't had the event in person in three years so the prices are all jacked up. I attended a few for really cheap years ago.

I’ve never gone but I’d imagine most of the people buying tickets for this are family & friends of the contestants.

Oh, I am sure! You can tell by the audience reactions after the performances.
I watched it all this evening. The young man that won was my pick. The young lady was good but there were two others that I thought were really excellent.
I really wish these were around when I was in high school. I get a bit nostalgic watching them. Ok, Very!
