It’s probably the worst kept secret that it’s “Oh Mary”. From my understanding, they’ve just needed to work out her transition from PIRATES! and the rehearsal schedule since there is only a one week gap

How do you figure it was the worst kept secret? I didn't hear anyone speak about it at all until this week, and I keep my finger on the pulse of theater news.I just don't stalk actors to try to figure out their next projects.

Somebody’s angry! Didn’t need to “stalk” actors. It’s been rumored pretty much all year, even before the Pirates announcement.

Not angry, just frustrated. I follow all these theater accounts on social media, and not once do I remember ever seeing this rumored. So calling it a worst kept secret makes me think I don't know anything. How did you know?

Some of us know folks in the industry, and industry folks have loose lips. I’ve heard it directly from two friends over the last few months. Not every social media account posts every rumor they hear and almost no one with actual insider information posts about it publicly somewhere like IG, X, or TikTok.
