THE COLBYS was a spin-off of DYNASTY (which premiered in '81). I wasn't crazy about the show, but it did have three things going for it...Barbara Stanwyck, Stephanie Beacham (as Sable!), and Maxwell Caulfield, who took his shirt off in every episode.

I meant that they had their own show before being introduced into DYNASTY. Right? Or am I losing my mind?

NCGuy. I loved me some Stephanie Beacham and Maxwell Caulfield!!!

Does anyone remember the season finale where Joan and Stephanie got on a fight on a yacht and Alexis shot at Sable and we all thought she was dead but we found out that it just grazed her on the first episode of the following season? I loved that one!
