If this show wasn't already locked down in terms of content and structure, I'd have jumped on the gimmick of the casting and written in "Leave (Get Out)" at an appropriate juncture in the plot, perhaps when she jilts Christian to save his life.

It might (or might not) be added in for her run — maybe she'll sing a little snippet during her string of "anti-love" songs during "Elephant Love Medley."

A show is never truly "frozen" after it opens...

I’m curious if JoJo was their first choice for celebrity casting and if they may have asked Katy Perry first.

If they plan on stunt casting Christian next Charlie Puth would be really good I think.

JoJo and Katy Perry aren't exactly on the same level of celebrity, and the producers would've known they couldn't get Katy for a long time between Idol and her Vegas show.

Something tells me this show is not doing well if they have to bring in someone like JoJo? Purely speculation, but could we be looking at a closing notice by the end of the year? Maybe Aaron would come back to close it out? I don't know.
