bdwyguy...no argument with you there. I, too, know of straight actors who can't pull off straight. And I don't think much of them either.
The only question I have regarding the posting of the headshot is do you have permission from Mr. Machota to do so? I know I would be very upset if someone posted my headshot without my permission, no matter if only the nicest things in the world were being said.

It's only a HEADSHOT, not naked pictures of him shtupping Tom Cruise.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

well, then I guess we had better check to make sure each headshot in the who's Who section has been signed off on by that actor before it is added.
This gripe very liitle tod o with a headshot or Joe and more to do witn the facrt that certain individuals from another board who do not like me and made it clear there that they didn't want me there, now come here where i have been since the beginning, and make it clear that they want me to vacte her as well.
they are like the creep kid in school that goes up to the kid in the chair and screws with him until he moves because they want that seat.

So very not true...at least for me. There is a huge difference between the Who's Who and posting the pic they way you did. The Who's Who is a professional summation of one's career. You have used this actor's headshot, which is one very important way to represent himself and his professional career, as a point of objectification. Perhaps Mr. Machota has no problem with that. Then great. I'm just saying that you need to be careful because someday someone might not appreciate the attention or the way their professional calling card is used to objectify them instead of getting them work.

People's headshots are used as professional tools tyes. but I know for a FACT that people objectify actors through their headshots all the time as well. That is just how it is. I guess next time you look at an actor's headshot you had better not comment on their appearance unless you are casting them. That is what you are telling me to do.

But I do think it is important to note that if someone posts an actor's headshot without their permission in the way it was done, then there may be repricussions.

I'll tell you what I do, when someone dislikes me, I become even MORE obnoxious and unlikable until the said person damn near implodes...or more important:
Goes the hell away...
I don't get ulcers, I give em...
