Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

Now don't get all bent out of shape teenybopper Fatone fans. But has anyone seen this billboard over Times Square of Joey and Audrey 2? Well I work across the street and have to look at it all the time. I have to say I don't know who is uglier him or the plant. It doesn't really make me want to see the show, just hurl on myself.

Did you throw your pizza at Fatone?

At least you didn't throw your panties. People might get the wrong idea.

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

The poster clearly reflects that he plays a nerd, not an NSync "cutie boy". Saw his performance and must admit he was quite good.

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

I saw it the other day. I was mortified! Usually I think Joey to be cute but he doesn't pull off that nerd look at all.

I thought he was excellent. If certain people didn't like his performance, it's more than likely that they went into the theater already planning to hate him.

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

I think they were talking about the billboard, not the performance.

MattG... I'm not even going to say anything.

Anyways, why are we insulting someone's picture on a billboard? That's kinda immature, don't you think?

I'll throw feces.
BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

I think the new window card with him is pretty cool looking though, although I still am partial to this revival's original design.
And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

i dont think this is immature at all. In shows you have to LOOK the part. Now i havent seen this billboard, so lets assume its a horrible picture that just makes him look weird instead of the nerdy-yet-still-cute look i thnk of when i think of Seymoure. People can complain about taht!!

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

By referring to him as 'ugly' is an insult. And to insult someone that you don't know, for no reason at all, is immature. To me, at least. I don't know where you guys are coming from.

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

Do I think he's ugly? No. Do I think he's attractive? Absolutely not. Am I happy with the gigantic billboards? Not at all.

There's my two cents.

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

What was the point of this post? To spew some more negativity? There is nothing wrong with Joey Fatone. And I am sure that he is doing a wonderful job. I can't wait to see him next week. Honestly, newyorkuniq never has anything positive to say. This post was pointless and immature.

Cheers,

I agree. From now on everyone should be pointlessly happy and upbeat and never post opinions they have unless they are bubbly and peppy.

re: Joey Fatone Little Shop Billboard

Joey Fatone is the ugliest man to walk the earth. Looking at him is painful enough but after hearing him sing...ouch! He's MUCH uglier than Audrey II. I hope he dies a torturous and painful death.

No, I was actually thinking that we could all be hopelessly rude and obnoxious. Let's all say cruel things about people we don't know. Who knows? It might make us look cool.
