John Mulaney’s From Scratch Stand-up Special

John Mulaney is currently filming his latest standup tour at Boston Symphony Hall and he’s teamed up with Alex Timbers once more who is directing the special. Scott Pask is also doing the set, he was previously the scenic designer for his radio city special and Oh, Hello on broadway. Anyone going to one of the two live tapings tonight? Can’t wait to catch this; I’m assuming this will be for Netflix.

He has a projects deal with Netflix so this will be on Netflix like all his other concerts, specials, etc.

Can't wait! I've loved his other comedy specials and "Oh, Hello" is singularly brilliant. His post-Covid post-rehab sets were decidedly dark, so curious where this will land tonally. But I'm a fan so will definitely check it out!

His set was very funny (and darker than before) when he played NY last year so I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

Going to the early show tonight, looking forward to it! I didn't catch this latest tour so I won't be able to compare/contrast, but I believe it's the same material.
