I'd be surprised if Amy Adams name hasn't been thrown around by those involved. They'd be crazy not to at least see her for it, whether she'd be the right fit with Depp, I don't know.
I'd love to know who they've been seeing for the other roles though, it mean would be interesting to know if Marshall's looking at the those with a Broadway background who have broken out(Aaron Tveit, Jeremy Jordan even Lea Michele etc)for what looks like they're possibly going to be younger roles than the norm. Not saying they'd be right, just interested.

I would really prefer it if Depp stayed away from this film. He is going to go all wacky with this character and the baker shouldn't be like that. Depp was once a good actor but now he just plays weirdos. He was mediocre in Sweeney idk how the hell he got an oscar nomination for that. Disney better not screw up this film. This film should be the exact opposite of what a disney film is and im really nervous it is just going to be fluff. This Musical is a classic and should be treated as such.
