JOSH SHARP TA-DA
Announced today: July 7-August 23 at the Greenwich House Theater
I saw an early version of this show and was blown away. He really does use thousands of Powerpoint slides at rapid speed, and I laughed through the first half and found myself crying by the end. I can't wait to see what he does in this run and with Sam Pinkleton's contributions.

Excited for this! I thought Dicks the Musical was wacky and delightful so I'm curious to see his other work
Josh Sharp was a guest on an episode of a podcast that I frequently listen to, and I found him very funny and engaging. On the other hand, Dicks the Musical was one of the worst things I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through. If I'd never heard him on the podcast, I would have no interest in his other work. But since I know he is capable of being funny and entertaining, and that Dicks was just a misfire, I'd give this a shot.
I also saw an early version of this at a venue in Brooklyn. Brilliantly funny and still packed an emotional wallop. Looking forward to going back and seeing the final product!

First preview tonight! I'm seeing next week. Anyone going this week?
I plan on going during the August part of the run, looking forward to hearing the reports!
Went last night. A really fun time. Just as the PowerPoint schtick was getting old for me, the show shifts and becomes way more emotional than I ever could have expected. Ended up being a very personal piece I really enjoyed. I laughed, I was moved, I was out in 80 minutes. What more could I ask for?

I thought this was an absolute delight, and we had a ton of fun in a tight 80 minute show. Josh Sharp has a great presence and really knows how to engage with his audience on a wide range of topics, while also having a very tightly plotted show. I really enjoyed how he presented this show, and while some occasional bits dragged on a bit longer than I would've liked, he did a good job of reigning it in and quickly jumping to the next topic, so ultimately everything felt pretty zippy and it was only in thinking back on it afterwards that I realize how much ground he managed to cover.
I am very much looking forward to catching this sometime this summer! Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson do an excellent improv show at The Bell House -- if you like this, I recommend catching these improv shows when they resume again!

I got to see it this week after having seen an early version in Brooklyn last year. The show was great before and is even better now. His bits and delivery are tighter and funnier, the PowerPoint design is more elaborate, and the magic more impressive. And his personal stories still made me cry even when I knew what was coming.

Happy to see a rave from TheaterMania!
“Welcome to whatever the **** this is,” he says, reading our minds, or at least seeming to. It’s a good first trick in a solo show that explodes the idea of what stand-up can be, should be, is. Part hilarious send-up of the form and part real magic act (wait until the end), ta-da!is one of the most hilariously innovative and astutely performed solo comedy shows I’ve ever seen.
