Not thrilled about Sherri, but for Judy Kaye and Kiki Palmer, I need to make a return trip. Great casting..wow.

Now this is more like it, Judy Kaye would make a really amazing Crazy Marie/Fairy Godmother.

I'll go for that once Sherri is out. I cannot bring myself to fork out the money to see such a bigoted individual.

She's going to be so perfect! I'm very glad to saw Victoria (what a class act she was at the stage door!) and I wish her luck in Gigi.

If only she'd gotten someone besides Sherri Shepherd. I love Judy Kaye, but just can't bring myself to see Shepherd.

Wonderful casting. She's a perfect choice for this role.

I think this could create controversy - Wicked stepmother (black) treats the (black) Cinderella poorly, so she needs to be saved by her (white) Fairy Godmother. Does that send a bad message? I think that's part of why the races for those roles were reversed in the Whitney version.

^I don't think anyone would care about that, all the general audiences want is good old fashioned, Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway magic.

What does this mean for Fun Home?

What the heck does this have to do with Fun Home? Seriously. (Do you have Judy Kaye confused with Judy Kuhn (she's the one in Fun Home)?

Oops. That's exactly what I did. Sorry

RaisedonMusicals, whom we learned is a very reliable source for this show, says that Cinderella might be closing in January to make way for a new show. So, I suggest that all of you if you really, really want to see Keke & Judy despite Sherri in it, go to see it because they will be the closing cast of this show and you'll never have an opportunity to see them in Cinderella again.
And billyelliot, you mean Judy Kuhn

I just want Sherri to miss once so I can see the rest of the new cast. (Come on, call out!)

If they had to go black, why of all people choose Shepherd? Maybe 8 shows a week will be too much for her and she will quit, or maybe she will be so awful that they will fire her during rehearsals and claim health issues for her departure. How this untalented woman gets work is mind boggling. As bad as Nene would be, at least it would be a camp to see and hear her.

Now they just need to announce a Madame for the tour.

I've heard that the Madame on tour will be Beth Glover.

What date does she take over? Is it September 9th like Keke and Sherri?

Anyone know if the prince will remain the same when the cast changes?
