So, I'm interested in seeing Junk at the Vivian Beaumont during my November trip. Has anyone seen the earlier production that played before it came to NY? Is it worth the ticket?
The main reason that I am interested in the show is because I was a huge fan of The Big Short, and I am also kind of interested in financial scandal stories. The main reason why I loved Big Short is because I found it very accessible, while also being very detailed. It did a great job of explaining the business world it was set in.
Is Junk equally accessible? Is this an entertaining show, or does it seem overly detail-heavy?
Thanks in advance for any information you can share.
I didn't see it, but it got very good reviews at La Jolla. Looking forward to it.

The review I read said it was similar to the Big Short in making it easy to understand, so you should probably love it.
I saw the workshop a few years back at Powerhouse and yes, if you liked The Big Short, you'll definitely enjoy this. I remember thinking it was very good, though quite different thematically from most of his other work. Will probably see it again this fall.
