I don't know what to wear! How formal should I dress? I was thinking semi-formal - like a black cocktail dress kinda style. (Like I have one of those)

Ave Q is full length - the only changes in the script refer to the geographics of Las Vegas (a ticket for Thunder from Down under as opposed to a subway ticket)

That sounds about right! Since it is OPENING,.. Heres an idea, Take a look at other opening night photos and see what all the other girls are wearing so you can be sure.

It's not the opera. What you described you will be wearing is more than appropriate. This show opens in Vegas, I doubt it will look that much different than the typical audience for a Broadway show. Assuming, of course, tickets are being sold to the public.
