I'm psyched! Justin will be playing the lead in the Vassar College workshop of the new musical "Good Vibrations" --- he is an amazing performer and I can't wait to see what he can do in a musical theater setting!
by the way.... before any comments roll, has anyone seen his new hair? Or, lack thereof? Nice! This is going to be a great new beginning for Justin : - )

I wonder if he'll be singing the song I was named after?
Justin LIVE is Justin at his best.
He is sure to finally get some long overdue industry respect. I have no doubt he will impress all those that are not familiar with him and hopefully those with preconcieved ideas will give him the beneifit of the doubt.

I remember his insane high note on Get Here during the AI1 tryouts. Yes, he should be able to handle Brian Wilson quite nicely. And he looks so much better since he cut hi hair. Updated On: 7/7/04 at 07:57 PM

now he can pass for human. That long afro was hideous.
He looks like a deformed elf

I'm dying! This is hysterical! I mean did anyone else actually see From Justin to Kelly. It could not have been any more horrendous if they tried. I about peed in my pants! I almost posted this myself out of sheer amusement, but then had to refrain b/c I thought it was such a sad sad state the theatre world is in. Funny, but sad.
Margo, we may not always agree, but that was PRICELESS. Best thing I've ever seen on this board.
I just found out he was offered a role in Lion king, but turned it down in order to do Idol...so maybe he does has SOME potential...but the thing that astonished me most is that Heidi Ettinger (Secret Garden, Big River, Darcula, Little Princess) is doing sets...NOT her kind of show at all...hmm...

Julie Reiber is in this, too...she is a lovely girl!
and the two worlds continue to merge into one, growing increasingly strange with each new casting announcement. not to say he won't be good. the guy's got talent. time will tell.

I am going to see the show next Sunday at Vassar. Will let you know what I think of the show. It does have some very talented people and the music is really great. I have hope for it.
