Justin Timberlake makes me want to spontaneously combust. Can't we just send him to a distant planet where he will no longer be able to foist his arrogant face into every piece of mainsteam art?

Justin Timberlake makes me want to pull an Inspector Javert over the nearest bridge.
Seriously, up until this year, people considered Guys and Dolls impossible to screw up. I guess they're trying to prove otherwise.

Anyone who's seen Timberlake host SNL knows he's hilarious. Anyone who's seen him perform knows he has swagger. He might be a good fit.
Lord knows they can't rearrange the music any worse than the recently closed revival did.
The real item of concern is Guy Ritchie. Making hard-edged British gangster films does not qualify you to make charming American gangster musical comedies.

Guy Ritchie and his man crush on Jason Statham is WORSE than Tim Burton's obsession with Johnny Depp.
At least the latter is actually a good actor who has repeatedly proved how versatile he is.
Jason Statham plays the exact same character in everything he is in, regardless of whether it is written in the script.

I said years ago that Ritchie had a musical eye and that SNATCH would make a good musical with the right composers but this news of Timberlake makes this project MUCH more exciting.
Now get an amazing Adelaide and I'll really start getting excited. I vote for Downy Jr. instead of Stathan tho. Boy can sing!

Well, assuming he even ends up getting cast, one would assume.
I don't particularly like Ewan McGregor's singing voice, but if they need a "name" in the role, why not him?
