At least we can rest assured that her Roxie will sound better than most. That Kara girl sho' has some pipes on her.

Posted: 9/5/11 at 2:37pmIsn't this the chick who keeps telling crappy singers that they aren't good enough to make it in a recording studio but that they could do fine on Broadway? She has NO respect for the medium.

That's true. I remember her first season on Idol, telling kids who didn't have the best voices "Oh, you'd be better suited for Broadway." When they obviously weren't suited for EITHER medium.
Kara will be just fine in the role, I'm sure. I just don't care much for her as a person. (Well, the person she portays herself as in the media. I don't know the chick from Adam's house cat)

I never thought I would have the desire to see Chicago again, but Kara could definitely make me check it out. I think she's the first person in a long time who intrigues me. She actually has the background for the job and I loved her interview on the Chicago site where she talks about wanting to have been a performer.
I definitely like her and I think she will surprise people. I believe there is stunt casting with trolls who should never be onstage and then there are performers who chutzpah who want a challenge and actually respect the stage. I think she does.
Im excited to hear how she does.
