Hmmm...That would add a weird level to the show if she and Connick Jr played lovers. Plus, Babe really isn't much of a soprano role.

I love her, but.... for PJ Game, which is, from a few reliable sources, what she's leaving Piazza for...she is wrong in EVERY way.
too young (esp. opposite Connick), vocally wrong, and honestly...too slight. Babe needs to be a STRONG woman. Does anyone REALLY buy that Kelli O'Hara is the tough woman who is leading the grievance committee, who would confront male management in the 50's? We need emily Skinner, Marin Mazzie, someone TOUGH looking.

Posted: 10/27/05 at 2:43pmI would love to see Kristy Kates(sp) replace her. I saw her go on for Elphaba, and wondered why a beautiful legit voice was being taxed and wasted in a role just not well suited for it. Her voice would soar in Piazza!

I would die if Celia came back, but I don't think that is going to happen....you never know though...lol
And I agree that Sarah is perfect where she is it...you can't get a better Franca than that, although I did love Laura Griffith's performance of her...
