This is fantastic, but there are tons of terrific singers (as Clarkson certainly is) who could sing the crap out of the material. That doesn't mean they are anywhere near appropriate to play the role, and she's not.
In fact, in talking about how badly she wants to guest star on PARKS & RECREATION recently, Clarkson made it a point to say she can't act and is well aware of it. She knows her limitations, and I actually find that quite refreshing (since she's been pursued to do theater regularly over the course of her career.)
Regardless, thanks for posting this! She sure is talented.
