Broadway: Three Generations, a three-act evening featuring condensed versions of Girl Crazy, Bye Bye Birdie and Side Show, will be presented at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in October.
Broadway's current generation of songwriters will be represented by Henry Krieger and Bill Russell's Side Show, which tells "the story of conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton." Jenn Colella will play Daisy Hilton with Brescia as Violet Hilton, McElroy as Jake and von Essen as Terry Connor.

This looks more like "Side Show lite".
Oh, I love Side Show. I wish I could be there, but that's not an option for me.

JENN COLELLA AND LISA BRESCIA IN SIDE SHOW?
Oh, how I wish I could go to this. It makes my fangirl heart gleeful.
ETA: Will they be performing the original Broadway version of the revised one that was recently workshopped?

Well neither really since its a seriously abbreviated concert version, but that being said I would imagine (and hope) that it'd be songs from the original version as some of the new songs from the recent workshop are maybe not my cup of tea.
That being said, those two girls are going to sing the heck out of that score.

After the disaster that was Camelot at the NY Phil, why would anyone want Lonnie Price anywhere near a concert version of anything ever again?

Lisa will be brilliant as Violet! I'd kill to see this!
I will definitely be there as this is one of the few times I am grateful my job keeps me here in DC. I echo LeaGirl's sentiment that I hope its a mini-concert version of the original Side Show.
I think I'll have to check this out. :)
Pretty sure I'll be going to this. I wonder when tickets go on sale (if they aren't already).
Dottie,
They go on sale August 11 for the public and August 1 for members.
Thanks. I just went to the Kennedy Center website and was just about to post that.

Does anyone know where to find the $25 tickets as I'm searching the ticket section and having no luck...
Logan, I went to the box office the day the tickets went on sale and got the $25 tickets. I'm in the front row of the rear mezzanine.
