Hey, just saw Xanadu...loved it. Kerry Butler was so cute and charming.
Anybodt know her story? someone said she was 36?
Is she married? single? Children?

I adore Kerry Butler! I'm so glad you enjoyed her, too.
And...36!?! I had no idea! So, at the age of 31 she was playing a high school teenager in Hairspray lol

And at 35 she was playing a 16 year old in The Opposite of Sex at WTF. I swear, she'll still be able to pass as a teenager on stage until she's 50.
I was amused when I found out that Kaitlin Hopkins (who played her mother in Bat Boy) is only 7 years older than her :)

Seth joked at Chatterbox last night with Kerry that she will be able to play 14-16 yr olds forever. (all in good fun... she got a kick out of it)
She still looks like a teen !!
Big welcome, Matt !! Yep, she is married to her HS sweetie, and they have a daughter.

Yup! This sure looks like a 36 year old -- NOT a teenager! Make-up and stage lighting works like magic.

She's the aweetest thing! She adopted her little daughter from Ethiopia last year I think...

Yep, Lois.. they have had Segi (she is too adorable!) for about a year now.
Kerry told the whole story of the adoption at "Chatterbox" the other night.
Such a beautiful story. Very touching !
