Kerry Butler's from Bensonhurst?!?

The latest issue of New York magazine says that Butler grew up in the fabled Brooklyn neighborhood. I've NEVER heard that before. If it's true, why can't she pull off the role of Audrey better? Updated On: 9/1/03 at 11:32 PM

I guess it makes for good "copy". I doubt she's from Besonhurst and I've consistently doubted that she is still anywhere *near* her 20's. I'm quite sure she's in her 20's like Daphne Rubin Vega is still in her 30's. (wink, wink)

I'm from Bensonhurst as well! Go Kerry! What does her age matter? She's incredibly talented and definitely doesn't look 28, or late 30's for that matter.

Whoa! Shes not in her late 30's. She was in her late 20's around Bat Boy. She is probably in her early 30's. Def. not older than 34 or 35.

Kerry looks way younger then you guys are saying she is not that looks matter but thats really what counts if shes older but can still play younger parts like Penny god bless her.

I would believe Kerry's in her late thirties. Sure, she doesn't look a day over 18, but neither does Miss Ripley (well, maybe a few days over) and she's turning 40 this December.

Ahh that sounded really mean actually. I didnt mean it negetively I just cant believe that she is that old.
