Great cast for this studio album of the Broadway musical, Anna Karenina. It was recorded about 4 years ago and is finally available via amazon and LML musical.

Sorry to bump this thread after so long but I've listened to sound samples and, oh, Lordy Lord, Kitty's songs are terrible. The rest is good stuff. I will most likely get this CD.

The music is awfully boring and the lyrics are generally doggeral, with the exception of the hypnotic "Seryozha". Melissa Errico, however, makes a wonderous Anna; if only the material lived up to her expressive voice.
