Great cast for this studio album of the Broadway musical, Anna Karenina. It was recorded about 4 years ago and is finally available via amazon and LML musical.
You can hear clips on Amazon as well...

Oooh so cool! This will be the next CD I buy, hands down. Thanks for the FYI!
Wow!
Does anyone know who plays which part?

It's also the giveaway this week on Michael Rupert's MySpace page.
It lists the performers and who they sing in the blog.

I saw this at Virgin over the weekend when I was in the city. What a great cast and score. I never got to see the show.
Picked it up yesterday but haven't listened to it yet.
Just ordered my copy. Thanks, Craig, for letting us know!
You're kidding! They made 'Anna Karenina' into a musical? Ohhh, this is going to SLAY my friend! He was already aghast enough at 'Jekyll And Hyde' and 'Jane Eyre'. XD

I'm guessing it didn't do too well?
Anyone know how to enter on Michael's myspace? I'm not a friend with him on it, so I didn't get his bulletin.

Sorry to bump this thread after so long but I've listened to sound samples and, oh, Lordy Lord, Kitty's songs are terrible. The rest is good stuff. I will most likely get this CD.

I can't see this at such a small theatre like Circle in the Square. Anyone see it?
The music is awfully boring and the lyrics are generally doggeral, with the exception of the hypnotic "Seryozha". Melissa Errico, however, makes a wonderous Anna; if only the material lived up to her expressive voice.
It's a horrible flop score I'm happy to have.
Kerry Butler is AWFUL.
So is Brian d'Arcy James, completely miscast as a debonair-type nobleman.
He's quite good.

I had to bump this thread because I need to know if this score is worth getting.
