But rosscoe, I thought the whole point was that her accent was supposed to be completely ridiculous and just barely Australian . . .? I mean, isn't that what makes it funny?

Because if you have not, you don't understand that her accent is supposed to be awful.

Foster, there is a difference between awful and not being understood.

Good! That's the point.

Its a new wig (not her hair styled differently, as I believe someone mentioned)

The same wig was used in the photo shoot for the commercial.

(Btw, it still has the ribbon)- and it really looks great, when you see it at the show.

There were a lot of people at the 3 performances that were saying they could hardly understand a word she said. I felt the same most of the show. Its a bad Australian accent done not very well.

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

I love the accent, easy to understand. I'm Australian though so maybe that's why...some of the best bits on the recording are when the accent comes out.

The new wig is VERY "Confessions on a Dance Floor" and Madonna already wore the s#@t out of that look. I hope Kerry sticks to the old wig in performance. Kira is much softer than that overly styled winged look.
