Is anyone interestd in this? I can't imagine why they are doing Bway, but...

I liked one of their shows downtown in a cabaret space. I don't know how this will translate.

Count down til Corine tells us how much she always loved them and then starts a petition to move the show at the end of the run.

Deena, get over it. Of course, someone is interested in this. You can't imagine why they are "doing Broadway?" Let me spell it out for you, sister -- work, exposure, money.

Well even if it's not a "hit" - it's only a short run. I've never heard of them, but it sounds interesting.

They are creative outspoken and just plain fabulous entertainers. have seen them for years from Fez to a sell-out C-hall. Surely to be an entertaining night.

I've loved them for well over a decade and have seen them more than a dozen times, but even I might have to pass on the show if because of the ticket prices. I just received a discount offer where the least expensive seat after the discount was still $70. While I paid about that to see their Carnegie Hall show, I won't pay it again for what's basically a two person lounge act -- regardless of how talented they are. Perhaps if it shows up on the papering services ...................

I'm just trying to figure out when to see them. Kiki and Herb are- perhaps the best downtown act to surface in a long time. Sure, they have a lot of hype, but I think well deserved. Justin Bond's comic genious paired with Kenny Mellman's mad piano skills is pure magic.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

i heard one of the producers for this show standing out front of the Helen Hayes talking about how it's 2 people and a piano performing piano bar music on broadway. he was also busting on Jay Johnson & Bridge and Tunnel too. he was like "New York theatre is going down the tubes".

of course there was lots of smoking and expletives thrown in for good measure as well....
