Didn't America play Nadia in Bare off-broadway? Not saying it is the same vocal requirements, but I would gather that she can sing.

To keep expectations low, I think we should not expect to see anyone in the original cast besides Lin. They are going big star for Vanessa, Benny, Nina, Sonny etc... It'd be stupid from a financial standpoint to do otherwise. Especially since its a movie which means tons of coaching, redos, autotune etc...

I'd love if they kept Priscilla Lopez as Camila since it's a relatively small part.

Also I could totally get behind Rita Moreno as Abuela and Ana Ortiz as Daniela...she'd be perfection.
