Yes, I love the idea of Sofia Vergara as Daniela, but weren't people saying J-Lo was going to play Daniela. However, I prefer Sofia Vergara then thousand better!!!
Zoe Saldana as Vanessa!!! Can she sing though?

People have been saying that because the role seems to fit her & she's a producer. I think she should play Carla & leave Daniela for a comedienne.

Well, I still prefer Sofia Vergara as Daniela, everytime I see Modern Family, I see Daniela!!!!

Zoe Saldana as Vanessa would be amazing... if she could sing. Can she?
Also, is Jenifer Lopez still producing? Or was she ever? I don't see her name in any of the articles.

I actually have no idea. I assumed she was. She is not listed with the other producers on IMDB so I guess not.

Zoe Saldana as Vanessa would be great if she can sing! All I can say is that I hope against all hope that Vanessa Hudgens is not in this movie....I haven't seen the show in NYC (just saw the tour) but with all the positive reviews Corbin Bleu might not be a bad casting choice either.

^ I thought I had heard that somewhere. So maybe Corbin for Benny, but who knows. No matter who they cast I'll see it :) haha but it's fun to speculate.

What wrong with dubbing someone's singing voice over the ideal charcter?

She's hardly scary, but I was kidding.
Sara Ramirez for Vanessa, people! Come on! There's a picture somewhere of her bowing down to Lin. lol

Zoe Saldana would be perfect for Vanessa. I imagine Vanessa Hudgens is a go for Nina, it's Kenny Ortega directing after all.
