Posted: 3/30/14 at 4:53amThe audio quality is generally excellent. I'd say the quality of the performances can vary. But I can recommend the Wilde plays (the production of An Ideal Husband is especially good), I liked the Chekhov plays I've heard and there's an absolutely exceptional Odd Couple with Nathan Lane and David Paymer.

They tend to be excellent. I have listened to quite a few and actually attended the recording of a few (they're recorded in front of a live audience). The recording of AFTER THE FALL starring Anthony LaPaglia is amazing. Lady Windermere's Fan is another favorite recording of mine.

Posted: 3/30/14 at 5:48pmI LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE these recordings. I've bought a lot of them over the years and I'm extremely happy that from their website you can now download them for around $3 instead of the $20 or so I used to spend on the CD's.

Posted: 3/30/14 at 11:47pmThat's neat that LATW are now offering their own digital downloads. Do you have any info about the mp3 audio quality, Jordan? The "about our mp3 downloads" section doesn't say. I've been able to access a few unedited-for-broadcast recordings through Overdrive (via my public library) but their quality has been Audible.com-poor or less than that.
