Dare I ask?
I saw Jenna and Steph as Elphaba. First Jenna...then on wed steph. I can see what they say about how every understudy is amazing. I loved steph, but Jennas wizard and I blew me away.
Yay Emo!! i love Jenna too....I like her better than Ana! *ducks for things thrown at her**
well, I do...Jenna is amazing.
I love maria!
I can't wait to see Eden, I am flying out just to see her. She is my hero!

That January 9th recording from Limewire that you are referring to is Bean and Jennifer Laura Thompson. I've always thought her vocals sounded so odd. But it's definitely JLT.
Honestly Theatre Diva, if you dont like wicked ignore the thread, its not hard to do, just like how everyone else here has ignored your post, your crap isnt needed.
its official no one should ever write ms. gasteyer's first name followed by an exclamation point. It looks like stephanie was declaring something very different that she likes jenna more than
I LOVE Jenna and I think her work in BARE is excellent but the recording of her 'Defying Gravity' that I heard did not impress me at all. Her voice seemed far too whiny for Elphaba and her more nasal tone did not work for the song. I have not seen her live, but from the clips I've heard, she sounds horrible. And I'm even a fan of hers- I would still love to see her none the less. I'm sure her acting is superb and would win me over.
I did see her live-last night, and her Wicked Witch of the East song was EXCELLENT! It made me wish I was seeing her in green, and also caused me to wonder why that song wasn't on the CD.

Never said I find it funny when they're hurt. (What I found funny about Idina's fall were the candlelight vigils her stalker fans held.)
I just, sadistically enough, find pleasure in seeing something I don't like, not go too well. Don't act like you don't. We ALL do.
ok, I just feel so bad for Stephanie...and Eden Espinosa is my FAVORITE singer of all time, so I am happy that I get to see Eden in SF (flying just to see her). I talked to Steph more then once and she was so nice and so deserves the role after all this time and sucks that she was hurt. I think it sucks for anyone to be hurt due to techinical problems.
OK...I'm dying to know if the bubble was able to defy gravity tonight....anyone? Anyone?
still too early to tell, it probably only let out about 15-20 minutes ago, no?
DG2- I will try and see if I can find the story again but I swear I read once an interview with (Schwartz? I guess it'd be up to him?) that "Wicked Witch of the East" wasn't included on the cast recording because it's too spoiler-ific for those listening to the recording before having seen the show.
Although I say if you listen to the cast recording before you see the show you deserve to get spoiled. :) I'll link to it if I can find it again.
Jonartdesigns!!! omg..I didn't notice that...I'll have to remember that!!! ahhahaha
that cracked me up..

I don't go to a Broadway show (or, in the case, a Tour show) for the special effects--they add to the experience, but I would have been just as happy watching the two leads (Steph and Kendra) just stand on the stage and sing/act. Steph in particular was AMAZING.

I'll comment once I'm done shaking my head and laughing at the fact that this was bumped up after NINE months.

What?
It is almost like the thread gave birth after nine months.
This must have something to do with the whole BWW family tree confusion. Everyone is giving birth to someone, and this thread just could not help itself.
Hey...I started this thread, and am surprised it's back! I thought maybe the bubble malfunctioned again....Oh well, that was a random bump!
Why did this come back?

i'm pretty sure someone actually learned how to use the SEARCH function! shouldn't that make some of you happy?? hahaa

I am in shock that someone actually searched instead of starting a new thread.
I have a question and I am not trying to start a fight, but why does it matter if she began a new thread or bumped this one, for one I dont like it when threads get to be this long. I personally think that it would have no difference if the bumper bumped or started a new thread. Do you disagree? Updated On: 3/18/06 at 08:00 PM
