Will Chase is performing at the "Songs by Sam" concert at Joe's Pub on the 23rd. He recently did a reading of Andrew Lippa's THE LITTLE PRINCESS at the NAMT festival, and he is involved in Tom Kitt's HIGH FIDELITY workshops.
thanks for the update!
that's awesome for will. i'm happy he's getting some work so quickly. he's so talented.
and also...
CHAD KIMBALL will be in "The Scott Nevins Variety Hour " at Carolines on Broadway!!

Ugh. Too many concerts, not enough $$. I want to go to the "Songs by Sam" thing, though.

those pics are awesome! thanks so much!
did you have a good time at strawberry fields? were there people singing his songs and whatnot? any lennon cast member sightings?

yes, it was a lot of fun.
i went once in the afternoon, and then later that night as well. during the day, there was almost an entire band set up playing his music. later at night there were only one or two people with bongo drums and a few guitar players. yes, we were singing his songs.
nope, no lennon cast member sightings, but i spotted a few people wearing hats or shirts from the show though!
woohoo!!
i have a new york city shirt and the lennon sunglasses. so now i can look like all of them!!
heads up everyone!
the cast of lennon will be singing a song on the 2005 broadway cares xmas cd!! woo. i'm so happy they're recorded on something!
check it out!

I wonder why they're not doing 'So This Is Christmas'!
good question!
i'm sure it will be amazing. i don't recognize the song, but i can't imagine all of them not sounding awesome singing it.
everytime i saw lennon, the idea of them all singing xmas songs kept coming into my head. now it's actually happening! haha.
I am pretty sure it was only Darin and Rona who recorded the song for carols for a cure, just in case anyone was expecting it to be the whole cast on the cd.
Also, the song is one that Darin wrote (before lennon) if I am not mistaken, which may be why you do not recognize the title.

awwww.... I love Darin but I really hoped the whole cast would sing something.
