Are you sure that's not the shirt that they discontinued?
When I saw the show about a week and 1/2 ago, they weren't selling htose any more, only the ones with the guitar string faces or the New York City ones (which I didn't have enough money with me for, Iw as not happy).

Posted: 9/28/05 at 6:20pmAs far as I know, the guitar string face on black was the shirt they used for the San Francisco run, and somewhere during the NY run they switched to the rainbow glasses John Lennon photo concept, a la the new logo. Since the show was ending, they could have run out of the new ones and sold the old ones, or who knows what.

I think at the Marquis Bwy Store, they have, like, 2 discounted Lennon shirts, and those are the tie-dyed shirts that say "Lennon" in tiny print. I WANT MY LENNON SHIRT WITH FANCY LOGO!!!!

Does anyone know if they're still (or if they ever were) actually selling the pins?
I still have my peace sign pin, but my John Lennon pin with his face and the rainbow glasses disappeared off my bookbag this morning. Either someone heisted it, or it fell off. I want to get another one.

Terry actually started saying son of a b**** full out on Friday night and continued it into Saturday's two shows; as did Chuck's bit of adlibbing when he was Senator Thurmond. It was funny Friday and still funny on Saturday night, because both lines worked whether you had seen the show before or not (especially nice though if you had seen it before they started changing the lines).
Did anyone see the show, I guess maybe a couple of weeks before closing when Terry started speaking with a French accent? After the Elton John bit, when Julie/Yoko says that the business people approached her and the three of them say their lines...Terry is last, and he decides to use a French accent. He was hysterically funny...per usual.

Just a reminder...Last week, someone posted that A&E is supposed to run a segment on Broadway on Broadway tomorrow morning at 8:00. Hopefully, it will be a long segment showing lots of it, but especially LENNON.
re: LENNON Plea#418
Posted: 10/2/05 at 1:10amoh yeah. good reminder. i'll try to remember to check that out, i may be asleep though.
re: LENNON Plea#419
Posted: 10/2/05 at 1:39amI was listening to the Green Room (or whatever it's called) podcast with Julia Murney. Listening to her talk about Lennon...and hearing an actual good clip of "Mind Games"...made me realize how much I actually love this show (more than I thought). I really hope that they'll at least put out a cast recording.
