LIFE IS OVER AS WE KNOW IT: CAROL CHANNING WAS RAPPING!!!!

THAT will never happen again in the history of Earth!
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Sean Combs liked her so much he's producing her next album. Thta is, after she gets out of prison for her role in the drive by.
"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."

This was the Tony's most memorable moment for me. I will never forget this, how CAN you? I can't get this picture out of my head! Ahhhhhh! Carole Channing in that short sparkling "Millie" flapper's dress that she probably bought in 1922, RAPPING with LL Cool J.

CAROL is so cute! She made my night! (her and Idina and Audra). But YAY for Channing!
"First up was Max who sang "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" [...] I haven't seen that big of a reaction to a stair descent since Audra left the attic in Ragtime." --Seth Rudetsky

Albin, that's why the segment was funny. The very idea of someone of TGC's stature joining KoolWhip--or whatever his name is--in a rap number is funny. To actually see her doing it is twice the fun!

(Fifty Cent--another rapper--donated a vast number of books to our school. When I was discussing this with my classes I referred to him as "Mister Cent" and the class thought it was hilarious. How does one refer to people with names like 50 Cent?)

What I love about Carol Channing is that she is prepared to send herself up. You've got admire that. She's a great entertainer. Look at her and then at that Rashad woman, what a poser. Who would you rather spend time with?
