This is really pretty pathetic. A friend of mine ordered this soundtrack EARLY (before the special started) and they are not allowing anyone who ordered early to download the soundtrack...only the NEW orders. So, in other words, for people who gave them business even BEFORE this week...they refuse to recognize their customer loyalty...and are making THEM wait for delivery of the actual CD...whereas the new orders can get both. Sounds screwed up to me.
I love the very end of the Hop Clop Goes On:
"Guutteen Taaag...And don't forget to buy Meine Kampf in paperback....available near you...."
Will Ferrel is so irreverently hilarious, and he sounds like he is great in this role. I can't wait to see his performance, not to mention everyone else's!

I just listened to it all and I LOVE IT! I think I am going to try and see the show during Christmas break, even though it would be hell trying to find tickets. Most of the tracks made me crack up. Some of my favorites are "When You've Got It, Flaunt It", "I Wanna Be a Producer", and "The King of Broadway". All in all, it's a great CD. And if you right click on "listen now" on the locker thing, and the click save target as, you get each track seperatly and you can save it. I hope that is legal. If not, oops....
Umm - I ordered it weeks ago and I had no problem getting it....
Just go under your account and find the digital locker option - it's not easy to find, but it's there. I heard the whole thing...
Interesting that you say you could download it though you ordered weeks ago. My friend read me the info from the website yesterday on Amazon and it specifically said the offer was only available to those pre-ordering on 10/28 or after, and there was nothing available in her 'locker' when she looked. Strange.
SamIAm, I had the exact same thing happen to me with the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack. Boy was I pissed!
Who is credited with the orchestrations for the movie?
Is it worth getting, for the casual fan who also has the cast album?
I'm thinking of asking for it for my birthday...
I just listened to it--overall I am quite pleases. Nathan, Matthew, Gary, and Roger are all excellent. Will doesn't really do anything for me. And I'm sorry to say this, but Uma sounds godawful. I wish they'd used Brad and Cady.

I don't know why I was allowed to get it, but I was.
