Oh my god.

Liza was such a hot mess.

Was her bra supposed to be slightly exposed?

It also hurts my mouth, just to watch her talk.

Are you kidding?? Her legs looked fantastic and I thought she was in GREAT shape overall. Much better than she has looked in the past few years. Love her!

I'm in a rental apartment with a new plasma wide TV so everyone looks fat (what is with that width distortion on those things?), Liza included and I knew it wasn't true.

But did she get new false teeth that don't fit? Is that what makes her talk that way, as if her teeth were slipping?

This thread was clearly NOT insulting her weight, even though many of you are jumping to talk about that.

It was the fact that she could barely speak correctly and that her exposed bra was the last thing I wanted to see!

Everyone needs to calm down and spread love. She was a hot mess and I loved her for it. I am not bashing her.

Her legs DID, indeed, look amazing.

I was saddened, though, by the bra/blazer ensemble. It just didn't seem appropriate unless you're a cast member of the Chicago revival and currently in costume.

She had a lovely, sparkling draped blouse with matching flowing pants in the arrivals photos I saw. I don't know why she changed; she looked incredible in that first outfit!

As with Meryl Streep and Patti LuPone (neither can dress to save their lives), I've learned that Liza is just too talented and fabulous to mind her sense of fashion.
Having said that, I just let out a laugh when she came out to announce the award. I was not laughing at her, but at how ballsy it was for her to wear that. She showed off those legs, and believe me, if I had legs that looked like hers, I would NEVER wear long pants or a long dress. So kudos to her. She looked great.

It seems her speech is worse when she's nervous and she's always nervous when she first walks onstage. Listen to her on the radio or later in a show and her speech is nowhere near as mushy.

Seriously, does anyone think she may have some sort of neurological problem that's just getting worse with age? Her speaking voice was too bizarre! Almost a caricature of her "normal", wacky "slurring".
Or.........(doped up?)
I do LOVE her, though! I thought her first outfit was great!

b) i hate to change the subject... but speaking of a little flash of undergarment... i was PRAYING megan mullally's dress would not fall off! did anyone else share my feeling? (she was amazing though)

Okay, so she was wearing a bra and blazer? I couldn't tell from the small tv I was watching from..

It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode when Jerry's girlfriend wore the bra underneath her blazer.

Anyway, she looked fantastic, and presented wonderfully.
