DAME -
You took the bait. Do you have a Liza shrine in your bedroom?

No shrine. Just a state of being. ![]()

"I was at the show last night, and he seemed a little on the stiffer side.....................
Do you mean 'HE was a little stiffer or that he HAD a little stiffie'?

Lin Manuel Miranda is Puerto Rican. There is no way he has a little stiffie.
We are known for our grandness....

First of all, you are dead wrong (no pun intended) about what folks post on twitter.
Well then, I guess you are right as always and this thread actually is necessary.
Thanks for bringing LMM's continued struggles with daily life to our attention.
Do you happen to know what he had for lunch 2 weeks ago? Maybe you could do a little research (perhaps start with his twitter since all his major life moments seem to be there) and start a thread.
I'm sure people want to know.
And I've had neck surgery so yes, I know what it feels like.

I just looked at his twitter and it was actually very good natured.
First he said:
Woke up unable to move my neck. Universe misunderstood "show's frozen" as "shoulders frozen." Hamilton moves like Batman w a cowl tonight.
Then he said
F*ck, guys. Don't be mad if Hamilton's wearing a Cheno Galinda neck brace today. Off to PT.

I have to agree with Taz. This thread could have easily been written on one of the other Hamilton threads.
I know you love this show Hogan's hero, but it wouldn't hurt to take it down a notch.

Yep, that first tweet is definitely alarming.

And let the record show that I am a huge fan of both LMM and Hamilton.

I assume by necessary you meant unnecessary. I am not always right but this is something that is easily demonstrable by a quick search of the twitterverse.

Hopefully you've enjoyed your little fit of sarcasm but trivializing actor injuries demeans you, not anyone else.

I have, thank you.
And LMM trivialized it himself. Did you not get that the "frozen" thing is a joke. The only one who seems to think this is a MAJOR event is you.
And thank you for replying in less than 1,000 words.

"The only one who seems to think this is a MAJOR event is you."
At the time I wrote what started this thread, the star of the most anticipated show of the season could not move his neck three days before the opening, and on the day the show began to have critics in to review it. I do no apologize for considering that a major piece of news. That Miranda is enough of a pro to make light of a scary situation publicly does not undercut the seriousness of the situation, at that moment. Thankfully, it appears that the crisis was averted, but at the time of my post, it was an unknown. And though Miranda has managed to perform (with a brace), we now learn that he will indeed miss tomorrow's matinee, meaning the critics scheduled for that performance will be seeing his alternate instead of him. If you think any of this is trivial, you don't understand much about making theatre. (And no, I am not the only one who feels this way.)

Lin also tweeted that he was going to have to sit out the matinee due to doctor's orders

He seemed fine last night. No neck brace, no evidence of a stiffy.

If it was Liza who was, yet again, having health problems, there would be hundreds of posting on this Board, hourly medical updates, and round the clock prayer vigils.
That's who I thought the thread title was referring to! (How gay am I?) Color me relieved. The poor gal's been through enough.
