I know you must be thrilled that La Cage took the prize!
Congratulations and I hope the win helps up their ticket sales!
Also, thanks for the link to the site.
has anyone seen la cage yet? I listen to it online as much as i can but Is it really good? I loooove Goulet and Gavin Creel.
Have I seen it? Only about 5 times now! I am a huge admitted fan. But if you enjoy Broadway Razzle Dazzle, with some really good performers, amazing dancers and coreography, and a beautiful Jerry Herman score...La Cage is for you! It's such a good time, light hearted, and educational show. Go...Enjoy!

That 38% Attn. last week sure proves that..

Not surpringly, the producers who were too cheap to spring for a cast album or souvenir program for the show have a website without any production photos or audio clips. Did anyone make any effort to promote this show?
And to think I never said a bad word against Brooklyn for its entire run...just tyring to throw some support to a very worthy & GOOD show, which you did quite a bit of Tiny-Toon!

You said it, Bonna! I've been asking myself that question from the start. We'd be standing in Times Square, looking up at billboard upon billboard for the many musicals currently playing, but not a single ad or poster for "La Cage." I have been a fan and supporter of this revival since it opened, but not once have I had any positive feelings towards it producers. Personally, I loved this production and while I realize many others have a very different opinion, whether you liked the show or not, one can't deny that its producers have done nothing to promote it or help it succeed. They should be ashamed of themselves for everything from the lack of advertising and a souvenir program to the treatment of Daniel Davis and the refusal to help fund a cast album. I'm sorry for the entire cast and crew that they were saddled with the greedy, neglectful Nederlanders and their silly board of producers.
On that note...congrats on your Tonys, La Cage! I love you! (even if your own f***ing producers don't)
La Cage has no program either? Why the hell not? I was just emailing the Charity site to find out why no programs for Charity yet and thought it was only that show with none!
(please insert "I hate Charity" snarky comments here, Charity Haters...and then move on)
I can't believe La Cage is also slighted in this respect! Is it indeed a case of "producer cheapness"?
