I was thinking that was the only possible one lately, though I was expecting for it to be in the 90's...oops wait that was the Movie release...ok thats CHEATING! Im still going with Bangkok.And before that...Memory? Thatd be 1981 and without a doubt a huge hit.

"Seasons of Love" from the movie soundtrack went to #33 in 2005
Wow, it does seem like the movie has been out over 3 yrs.

American Idol - David Cook released
"The Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera.
It went to #77 in the Hot 100 in spring 2008.
