Posted: 8/12/06 at 8:49pmMuscle, in theater there are these great people called understudies that you've probably never heard of because the mediocre scores of The Wedding Singer and Tarzan are playing too loud in your head. Now these amazing understudies are there to replace the principal actor/actress of a show when he/she is out sometimes for a day, sometimes for a long period of time. As an actress Laura Benanti is entitled to one of these understudies you just learned about and her understudy is able to cover for her until Ms.Benanti is completely healthy without the need for the producers of the show to replace her. OK? OK

Unless the show closes before her leave is over, she's going to return as far as I know.
I'm not sure about her mail, but I don't think they forward it. I'm guessing it sits at the theater until she goes and gets it. Though, if you want to wish her well you can e-mail her through her website.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride.
I love you because I know no other way than this.
I believe in fate
But it's up to us to follow through

I saw the show on October 25th. She didn't miss a beat in the show and she was so sweet at the stage door. I told her I was so happy she was healthy again. That got me a hug
