I am upset I never got to see her in the role, Jenn Damiano went on for her when I saw it. I love her voice though so i cant wait for that album of hers. But I actually do wonder if that means skylar will be leaving soon too?

Are Lauren & Skylar still together? I had heard they had split and the last few times at the SD, they would totally seperate and left seperately...just wondering. Hope Skylar doesn't leave--He is awesome.

Yeah, I heard about that. I'm really bummed, I never got a chance to see her. I had Phoebe Strole as Ilse when I went...and she sucked.

Nothing official has been released....but her friend (on this thread, I believe) said that she was in fact cast.

nothing's been officially announced yet, but Emma's name has been bounced around a lot. If you're curious about her voice, she has a myspace.

I didnt hear that Skylar and her were not together anymore. But I too hope he doesnt leave, he is amazing! And Jenn Damiano was awsome in the role, why did she leave (kind of a thread jack)

Just watched a video of her singing on myspace...i'm hoping the crappy quality of the video is what's making her vibrato sound a little less than stellar...great range...just does not sound polished enough to be entering a broadway musical...my opinion obviously though.

she is a singer. since SA is a rock musical, the OBC was primarily singers who can act, more than actors who can sing. for a singer who can act, i liked her. i am psyched for her album!

and i'm mad that she's leaving the weekend before my onstage seats!

The casting directors of the show always say how they have pulled the vibrato out of the voices of the performers. Interesting that they would cast someone who's vibrato is not only really strong, but really wobbly.

Sad that I never got to see her.
However I don't really think she was a strong actress from the beginning. My mom started laughing the first time she heard the dialogue in Don't do sadness/Blue Wind.
Ahh well. I want to hear some of her replacement's music.
