is it or is it not preforming at the TONYS? If they do what will they preform and why would they get to after no best musical nom.

It's not performing.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Oh no! I was hoping they'd perform! It could probably really help boost ticket sales when they need it.

I'm sure I read an article saying that Legally Blonde & LoveMusik would both perform, or were at least invited to. There was a thread about it to. I'll try find it and bump it up the board.

A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.

Considering they didn't let Big River perform a couple of years ago even though it was nominated for Best Revival (it had closed) AND even though it was one of the best-reviewed and most respected works of late, I doubt that Blonde will be performing.

I think the problem was that the cast of Big River dispersed after the show closed. To summon them all back to perform on the Tony telecast would've been expensive. Showing a brief video of the lauded (but shuttered) revival was more than enough.

Meanwhile, I agree that Blonde will not be performing. They're not nominated for Best Musical.

Finally, do they really need a performace? It's such a recognizable commodity anyway. People will flock to it when they hear that it exists.
