"In addition to Bundy -- who looks so much like her film predecessor that spectators sitting farther back than the tenth row may think they're actually seeing Witherspoon"
Huh? Bundy doesn't look a thing like Reese Witherspoon. It sounds like these positive reviewers are just trying as hard as they can to pull random things out to make the show sound more and more appealing.
yes that must be what they are doing???
Im sure it has nothing to do with the fact that that was the opinion of that person

I'm so happy that Leslie is being recognized for her aweseome-ness!
I'm sorry but Laura Bell Bundy looks nothing like Witherspoon and that's just looks, not even going to get started on talent, charisma, and star power.

These are certainly not the reviews they got in SF.
its had some good reviews so far with a few mixed and negative so i think its doing fine(i dont think it would have expected to get raves)
Reviews always interest me in the sense that some of the longest running shows such as Les Mis were panned when the opened yet other shows what get panned such as pirate queen looks like it will close soon.

"Leave it to Margo."
LOL
Otherwise, I'm surprised at how many positives it is getting. I expected Legally Blonde to get more mediocre reviews, just from an objective standpoint.
SF critics are much less cuthroat than NY critics...and, there have only been like five reviews posted.
Plus, its not like the SF reviews were out-and-out raves...they were mixed and the critics all basically agreed it was a fun, entertaining, crowd-pleasing show. It's not like it was hailed as a masterpiece...
i am so excited for the word of mouth.
NY critics are much tougher than out of town critics. Laura looks nothing like Reese Witherspoon.

So far, Legally Blonde is getting some good notices. You can't win 'em all.
any idea what time other reviews are due out?
Now.....
Usually they start to surface when the curtain rises.....
perhaps a little after midnight?
Brantley is going to at least love Bundy. We all know about his thing for pretty blondes.

we all wanted the show to be good.. But the lack of direction coupled with no real moments ie; the dancing courtroom , humorless orfeh .. etc... it really just belongs playing on Fire Island.
but the first 12 minutes are great
Why won't anyone answer my question about whether dogs can be eligible for best supporting actor Tonys?

I was just about to say the same thing Neddyfrank
that whole statement was a bit Random
I don't think dogs can be nominated for Tonys.
Word of mouth is up.
