My sister and dad want to rush Legally blonde on Sunday. The Problem is that my sister doesn't have student ID, and I heard that LB is one of those shows where u have to show ID when you go in to the theater as well as when you buy the tix. So I couldn't buy them and give them to my dad and sister to use right? Will My sister's report card work? If not is there any other way I can get them rush tix, I have tix for SA that day onstage otherwise I'd go with them.

The last time I went, I only showed my ID when buying the ticket, they warned me I would need it upon entering, they never even asked.

And once I took my aunt and I bought the tickets and they never asked for ID when entering then either.

fyi a report card won't work to buy tix at the Blonde box office, I doubt it would work if carded for student i.d. to enter the theatre for the performance itself, but I've never seen anyone try...

Same as clumsydude15, I bought a ticket for rush and showed ID but never showed ID nor was I asked upon entering the theater.

It's touch and go at the theatre, sometimes they ask and sometimes they don't.

I went to the show beginning of November and they asked my sister and I for our student IDs when we entered the theater; but then they didn't ask the first time I saw it. So I don't know...

But wouldn't it work if she gave her sister her id to use in case they did ask for it at the theater? Or would they be so carefull as to really look hard at the picture?

How old is your sister? If she's a kid, I doubt they could deny she is a student.

Last time I went, I got a ticket at like noon.


Has it gotten worse since the strike ended?

My sister is 9 If she's doesn't have a ID will they still let her and my dad in?

Where's the info on the rush policy? It's not on talkingbroadway, and what time should I get there to get tickets?

Good question, I'm rushing in April for 4 tickets for a Mat on Sunday, how early should I get there?

Sorry to bump this thread, but I figure it's better than making a new one.
My suitemates are planning on rushing tomorrow (Sat.). Does anyone know when they should get there?

i figure between 7:30-9 should be good because its not a hoilday weekend until spring break next week, and the week after spring break/easter.

We're actually in the midst of rolling spring breaks. They start around Presidents Day and just keep going. There are quite a few schools out on break this week.
