Natalie Joy Johnson seems a tad too young.

I never particularly liked her as Enid, but I don't really like the way the role is written, so whatever. Broadwayboy, what's your source?

I too heard about Natalie as Paulette from a very reliable source. Interesting casting choice.

No, she didn't. The only people who have performed Paulette to date are Amber Efe, Gaelen Gilliland, Leslie Kritzer, and of course, Orfeh.

Ven Daniel is playing Kyle, the UPS guy. He was the poster boy from last years Broadway Bares... Cupid. He's amazingly talented and the nicest guy too!

Someone on another board said that Andy Karl will be Emmett, but I doubt that's true.

Andy Karl is going to be in NINE TO FIVE, I believe.

Coleen Sexton will be playing Brooke Wyndham.

I still haven't seen the Broadway production and I live in the aread but he will be the reason I'm going to get a ticket to go see the tour. He's such a sweet person and I'm so excited to see him back on stage in the area...or close to it.

Edit: Gaelen won't be Vivienne she is going to be a swing in 9to5.

To my knowledge, Andy Karl will be in 9 to 5. His role, apparently, is one added to the musical (not in the film), and is very similar to a Kyle-esque character. And yes, I believe he would be considered ensemble.

(Side note: dear GOD, when is someone going to write him a damn leading role?)

I just saw him in a regional production of "Altar Boyz" playing, ironically, Luke, the character created by Andy Karl.
He seemed very, very talented.

Andy Karl is not in the ensemble of 9 To 5, he's a principle and will be playing the love interest to one of the leading ladies. I can't elaborate any further because that's all I know. Gaelen Gilliland is pretty much doing what she does in LB and being a swing/ensemble person.

how do you think they are going to alter the entrances/exits and scene changes since they wont have the huge hydraulic lift in the center? Especially for the entrance of the Greek Chorus. Hmmmm....

They may be able to fly it somehow. Maybe they only booked theatres that have a large enough elevator for that part.

I was thinking the same thing
They booked in the Acadamy of Music in Philly and I was like...how are they going to do the trap door. But I guess they will just run on or fly the sets in.
Its not that big of a deal but it adds to the wonderful experince that is Legally Blonde!
