Legally Blonde front doors

sorry, this is one of those random posts that I would usually be rolling my eyes at and skipping right over, but- when did they do this to the front doors of The Palace?

I'm walking by there tonight to get on the train, and now where there had once been plain glass doors on The Palace leading from the street to the lobby, instead there are now these (2 foot?) high letters spelling out Legally Blonde across the doors- it literally made me stop on the sidewalk and stare when I noticed it for the first time tonight, as it is pretty much as tacky as it sounds. I work in th TS area, and I couldn't believe that I've never noticed this before...

Anyway, that was it, I was just wondering if anyone knew when that happened. Unless I'm just an especially clueless sort, and it's been like that for a while?

I was at the show last night and definitely did not notice, so it probably went up at some point today.

At least its just the name of the show...it could be worse - huge stickers of Laura Bell Bundy in various poses on the door a la the Cheyenne Jacksons on the doors during All Shook Up.

actually I believe there is a LBB sticker. I remember definitely seeing the (pink, natch) letters, and I am pretty sure there is also a sticker of the dog, and now that you mention it I think there's a LBB sticker too...I think just one, though.

Awww c'mon, Lori - those Cheyenne cut outs were hot .

I think they're all stickers to prevent stealing as the ones of Cheyenne were stolen before.

I'd love for someone to post a picture.

I went to see TALK RADIO tonight (so good) and walked by LB on my way to the train. Here are the letters, and the LBB sticker...

i have a question.......im going to NYC and seeing wicked and tcp. is it possible for me to walk in-get some merchandise andjust walk out? or do they require a ticket for me to get into the theatre

Yes, when the lobby is open between an hour and half-hour before curtain, you can walk in and purchase merchandise.

I'm not a huge fan of the doors, but hey- they are attention-grabbing.

that picture of LBB isnt the greatest...

but shes hot so who cares about one creepy picture :)
