Well, to counter that - Movin' Out was recorded live, wasn't it? It sounds great!

no i would have to disagree there to..movin out loses a great deal of its punch in the recording.

there has been no official cast recording made...

YET.

fingers are crossed that all goes well.

and IMO, EVERY new show should have a cast recording. for posterity, for the fans... it's history. it irks me that some shows have no recordings because of contractual issues. whether you enjoy it or not, someone did, and in years to come there may be a whole crop of people looking for that exact piece of art that was never frozen in time on a disc.

exactly overthemoon. if people want to listen to Raggedy Ann or Home Sweet Homer or Molly, they can't...it is just so sad.

Okay. So.

Julia (<333 times four million) said that they haven't recorded *yet* but that they're very much hoping to within the next few weeks. Apparently there are still some logistics to work out in terms of record labels, etc, etc, but they're hoping it'll happen. It does sound promising, anyway.

Usually, I can be very generous; but even though I don't want to share this cast either, I'm willing to try re: Lennon REcorded.

They are so absolutely terrific, gracious, welcoming, fun to talk to; and extremely talented!!!!! they make you want to tell everyone else about them and their generous personalities.
