I almost tried the lotto for Lestat on opening night but wanted to see "Rent" again.

Exactly what I've been saying. I loved it. It's the script and the book that need help. But the presentation of it, the cast and the score are magnificant.

Not gonna lie, it looks really good to me. And I really want to see more of the "I want More" clip. I like that song a lot.

I am still out to lunch on this show. I will be in New York in June and might get a ticket at TKTS if the mood hits me. I have heard so many not so great things about the show and the clips haven't made me want to run a buy a ticket. But I am curious, so I just might see it.

I seen the 3rd performance of the show in San Fran and I just saw it again last week the day before opening. It has improved a thousand times, though could use more work, but it is worth the money to see as is. I plan on seeing it again.

It is awful! Save your money. See a different show or give it to charity. Please. The critics in NY and San Francisco are correct on this one.

I have to admit, Crimson Kiss is pretty catchy. Though, I'd probably find Carolee reading the back of a cereal box catchy.

Personally I think it looks good, and I think that I am going to enjoy the show. When I see it I am going in with an open mind!

I would like to see more of "I want more"...I love that song!

I want to see more of "Right Before My Eyes" that is just a beautiful song and Hugh puts so much emotion into it (bless his sweet lil heart)...wait, I actually want to hear whatever else hugh sings in the show but I love that "Sail Me Away" song too.
I cannot wait to go see this show cause I'm already loving all that I've seen of it so far.

Hugh sounds amazing performing those songs live! Yes, this show has problems with the book, but the music and gorgeous voices make it worth seeing. I'm going back again, just for that reason.

you have tons who love it , tons who hate it it seems. Sometime deserved, other times not so much.

When it first started, I thought Huge Panaro was going to sing "On My Own" in that trench coat.

But jiminy Christmas that's some over indulgent singing in this thing. It reminds me of "Elephant" - the Elephant Man musical parody in "The Tall Guy."

That score sounds NOTHING like an Anne Rice novel. Elton John was the wrong choice to musicalize this material.

I did enjoy that part where Becky Thatcher comes in and sings that country-western song they cut from TOM SAYWER. That must have livened things up a lot!
