Lillias White and Madonna

Just came back from the gym and heard a song on my playlist that features a little theater trivia that no one ever discusses -

Lillias White is singing back-up on Madonna's "Rescue Me" from the Immaculate Collection. Aside from the credit in the liner notes you can hear her belting her face off in the background during the last minute of the song.

Just thought this bit of trivia would excite someone the way it excited me when I first realized

I had no idea that was Lillias, and I've listened to that album a gazillion times. I never bothered to look up who that was, I assumed it was Niki Harris, Madonna's go-to at the time.
