LincTix tickets

Hi,

I'm new here and I'm not a US resident.

I desperately want to see To Kill a Mockingbird when I visit New York this summer. I've registered with LincTix and I see now that I have to be a US resident in order to score tickets over them (apart from aged 21-35, which I am). Technically not to buy online, but they ask for ID upon collection, supposedly.

Now, I was wondering if that rule is really that strict or would it be worth the risk to buy over LincTix online in advance, and just collect the tickets? Clauda from BroadwayForBrokePeople.com informed me that she hasn't heard of anyone being rejected after previously purchasing the tickets, for that reason, but admits rules are clear.

Any other foreigners who pulled it off?

I feel like half the time I go to get tickets at Lincoln Center (different from Mockingbird, I know) they don't even ask for ID. I'd guess the box office attendant would not be so strict as long as you're in the right age range.

Have you tried buying any tickets with your Linctix account? I imagine if there's something to block non-US residents it would stop you from completing the transaction if you have to include your address at any point.

Sometimes Stub-Hub has tickets for a discounted price! Hope this helps!

I'm a LincTix member and right now TKAM isn't available. Just In The Green, My Fair Lady, and The Rolling Stone.

If the show is actually at Lincoln Center Theater (any of the three stages), I've ALWAYS been asked to show ID at the box office. That said, the stuff that they send to other house (specifically Falsettos and Mockingbird), I didn't have to. I imagine if they ask at Mockingbird, they'll take whatever ID you give them as long as it has your name.
