Just saw Lion King on tour. In one scene they make a few jokes that reference Frozen. I am certain that scene used to reference another Disney musical. Does anyone remember? It's driving me nuts to remember.

Not sure what scene you are talking about but Its a Small World was referenced in Morning Report? but that is not a musical so very confused!

Seems safe to be certain that a musical from 1997 didn't always reference a 2013 movie.

Hey was it Let it Go and Zazu says anything but that? was in the cage with Scar?
if it is that is a small world but that is not a musical!

Scar asks Zazu to sing something for him, which he does. He starts out by singing something depressing because he's in cage. (I believe that the first sone he sang was a bit of Nobody Knows the Trouble I've seen.) To which Scar then tells him to sing something more upbeat. Originally Zazu sang a bit of It's a Small World. However, ever since the Frozen frenzy came, they changed it from It's a Small World to Let it Go.

Correct. I knew it was a Disney reference. Just thought it was a musical.
