i think it looks almost exactly like one of the old movie posters. i'm disappointed.

I think they'll change it also because it is too close to the green of the Tarzan poster. They need another color. After BatB is closed, they can take the blue.

the image is old...way old. it's original artwork from the movie promotional stock and is obviously being recycled here. atleast it got me excited for the show again.
What I am hearing is that they are undecided and this poster will most likely not be the official poster for the show.
Lmao, do they use these boards as a testing place for stuff like that?

in Disneys defence why would they put money into making a new poster if they dont know how this production will turn out? i think the poster get the point across and when it comes to broadway it will be amazing!
The only Disney musical to fail to make it to Broadway was King David. And this is THE LITTLE MERMAID, one of the most known disney films. I really doubt that was the thought behind it.

Yeah, and I really doubt Disney's so worried about losing money that they aren't gonna put much money into a great ad-campaign. The marketing is key to the success of the show, of course they'll put money into it.

"Are you freakin' kidding me with this skinny business?"
Well it's not like I was hysterical over it. It's just something I noticed.
Oh, my mistake then.
